When should we talk?
It’s never too early to talk. We can learn about your needs, and provide you with email templates to help you onboard your customers. The sooner we talk, the finer a point we can put on exactly what you need, in what format, style and tone.
How does pricing work?
The more we do, the better the deal. A single case study in a single format (OneSheet, for example) starts at $2,700 USD. Add on formats or buy case studies in packages, and you’ll save. Since there’s quite a bit of work to do up front—coordination, interviewing, writing, approvals, revisions—we recommend maximizing value by telling each story in many formats.
Can we do a test, a pilot?
We highly recommend it. Start with a single case study, and if it works out for you we’ll count that as part of any package you sign up for.
What if I want to check in with one of your customers?
Hearing it from the horse’s mouth always builds confidence. We would be happy to introduce you to one of our clients, and you can go from there.
We’ve got a very specific ‘look’. Can you match our design?
Yes, absolutely. Show us what we’re starting with and we’ll be happy to quote on it.
Do you offer a charity rate?
Yes, we love to give back! Tell us about your organization and we’ll come up with pricing that reflects the good work that you do.
Will you do the writing, we can do the design?
Absolutely! We would be happy to quote on the case study process, minus the design piece. Just keep in mind that design is simply one part of a bigger process.
Will you contact our customers for us?
Getting your customers on board for a case study is something we leave to you. After all, you have the relationship. Getting in touch without an introduction would create the wrong kind of ‘surprise!’.
We have customer-onboarding email templates you can use, and plenty of advice. We would be happy to talk through any roadblocks you might envision.
I’m worried my customers won’t want to participate.
We have found the exact opposite! Unless you’re their secret weapon, most customers are more than happy to participate, assuming you’ve done great work for them. People like to share their enthusiasm, and to see their words immortalized.
We have case studies. Can you make them better?
It’s always possible, but most of the time we find that the information we need just isn’t there. Show us what you have—case studies, interview transcripts, whatever you’ve got—and we’ll let you know if we can make it work.
We’re a marketing agency. Can you act as part of our team?
We do have agency rates, but because we need to interact directly with end customers, pretending we’re you is a tricky proposition. In the interest of transparency, consider bringing us on as case study specialists. ‘Cause that’s what we are!
